Measuring and calibration bench (MSAVD)

First, this measuring and calibration bench makes it possible to calibrate the measuring circuit of the power current, and then, to check the measured values in various significant ranges. The system is composed of three elements: an industrial 19-inch rack for the control-command, a working station and an autonomous generator of power current (DC) which can also make different type of tests on the DC power supply of a product (marginal voltages, consumption readings, etc…).

Here are some main functions of the bench:


  • Control, generation and servo-control of the power current (DC)
  • Pressurisation of the product power contacts
  • Power current (DC) measuring
  • Measuring of the supply current consumed by the product
  • Behaviour checking of the product in “marginal voltages”
  • Creation and modification of the Scripts of cycle


Moreover, the software design of the application allows the construction of a cycle by using the possibilities of a library of functions. This principle therefore accepts the quick and easy creation of several cycles.

Emulator bench for pumps (EMULA)

This emulator bench for pumps is intended to perform normal and anomalous tests on a pump placed in a hydraulic loop. The complete system consists of an industrial and watertight 19-inch rack for the control-command, as well as a hydraulic loop. The provision of a library of hardware and “immaterial” functions, available for the user via a software structure, allows the use of several of these functions at the same time in order to make various type of tests. 
Few examples of main functions of the bench:


  • Flow rate control by an adjustable solenoid valve
  • Differential pressure measuring at the pump terminals
  • Flow rate measuring in the hydraulic loop
  • Rotation speed measuring of the pump
  • Measuring of the rotation speed of the pump
  • Static pressure monitoring in the hydraulic loop
  • Creation and modification of the test cycles
  • Logging of the data generated by the cycle

Control-command rack and hydrolic loop


Test bench for hydraulic pump

Intended for the production sector, this test unit can provide electrical, vibratory and hydraulic tests for a pump, at the rate of thirty pieces in a single cycle. The various control points are performed under defined temperature and pressure conditions of the fluid.

The acquired and controlled values are: 


  • The electric current consumed
  • The actual electric power
  • The input/output differential pressure
  • The abnormal vibrations detection
  • The restart in marginal voltage


After the placement of the products to be tested, the system supports the whole cycle, including the monitoring of machinery failures. The progress of the sequences is conditioned by the settings stored in a test model, this one takes the form of a file containing the exhaustive statements concerning a type of product. Materially, the station consists of a self-supporting and wheeled stainless steel structure. The whole is consistent with the various European guidelines and related standards.

Electronic test bench for hydraulic pump


Control bench for home-automation product

Control unit in production for electronic products in relation to the home-automation sector. The bench is composed of an industrial 19-inch rack incorporating all the control-command functions and the workstation. It supports two dedicated spaces to receive the products that have to be tested. The management of these spaces allows an operation which masks the loading and the unloading time of the operator.

Bench programming and control for transmitter RF

This is a bench test intended to program and to control little transmitter radios (remote control RF-868Mhz). The station is semiautomatic, the operator positions the part in a specific drawer, and a cycle runs automatically. The actions made by the bench test go from programming the card (card alone), to the personnel putting the card in the casing with a battery. Then after a second test the machine prints the manufacturer’s label. These tests are made in a Faraday chamber guarantying immunity from power measurements as well as the absence of RF pollution.

The important functions of the machine, are :


  • programming the microcontroller product- electrical and functional tests, card alone (idle current…)
  • functional tests, product finished (frequency, power, data…)
  • printing of  the manufacturer’s label

Central interfaces for micromotor

This is a 19’’ case integrating specific interfaces, as well as power supply for checks and measures on micromotors. A motherboard receives, from one side, 10 modules to Europe format 3U (connectors 41612), and from the other side, connectors SCSI and SUB-D used for interfacing with the unit of the command-control. The interface module for the micromotor is in ten units, among integrated functions, there are : 


  • a DC programmable power source
  • a controller for brushless motor
  • specific analog acquisitions
  • self tests…

Acquisition and supervision of a laboratory of endurance testing

The installation assures acquisition, recording and supervision of physical measures (voltage, current, electrical energy, liquid volume, temperature…) for 32 units (one unit per product). The set is divided into 4 areas; each is managed by one entity which is called a « concentrator », which manages 8 products. Tests can go on for several hours; all data acquired by the concentrators are sent to the central component which is called the « supervisor ». The supervisor saves all the data and permits the display of records in progress and also the consulting of records saved in the archives.
